Following the success of the CHEK Conference in the US in 2011, this highly awaited conference is set to be a sell out! We are hosting the 2 day event at Surrey Sports Park in the UK on 16 to 17 August 2014. We have a full line up scheduled, Paul will be the Main speaker throughout the 2-day event and we will also have some international guests speakers presenting some CHEK focused sessions also.

This Conference is open to all, we are expecting a high number of CHEK Professionals in attendance, but there will be other professions in attendance as well as general public- all wanting to take advantage of the years ‘not to be missed’ weekend conference! Paul Chek

Paul Chek is a internationally-renowned expert in the fields of corrective and high-performance exercise kinesiology. For over twenty-five years, Paul’s unique, holistic approach to treatment and education has changed the lives of countless people worldwide, many of his clients, his students and their clients. By treating the body as a whole system and finding the root cause of a problem, Paul has been successful where traditional approaches have consistently failed. Paul is the founder of the C.H.E.K (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) Institute, based in California, USA and the P~P~S Success Mastery Coaching Program.

Speaker & Consultant

Paul is a sought after presenter and has consulted for organizations such as the Chicago Bulls, Australia’s Canberra Raiders, New Zealand’s Auckland Blues, the US Air Force Academy and other elite organizations. His information is not only cutting-edge, but also very applicable. Participants leave his classes with information they can use and achieve results with right away. Paul was the keynote speaker for the NZ Musculoskeletal Conference in 1998, presented at the 6th European PGA Teaching and Coaching Convention in 2003, the World Junior Golf Convention in 2006 and the NUCCA Convention in 2010. He has received numerous speaking awards such as Best Male Presenter by ECA World Fitness members in 2004, Most Controversial Speaker by Can-Fit-Pro in 2004, Speciality Presenter of the Year in 2007 at Can-Fit-Pro and was rated number one speaker by participants at the 1998 IHRSA conference. In 2005 Paul was presented with a Lifetime Achievement award by SWIS, The Society of Weight-Training Specialists.

Matthew Wallden

MS (Osteopathic Medicine), C.H.E.K Practitioner Level 4, CHEK Golf Performance Specialist, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 3, Member of the CHEK Faculty

Matthew Wallden originally qualified as an Osteopath & Naturopath in London. Later, while working clinically and lecturing on osteopathic technique, he completed a post-graduate Masters degree in Osteopathic Medicine before embarking on the C.H.E.K Practitioner Program. He has consulted for various top sports teams including Chelsea Football Club, Charlton Athletic Football Club and Surrey County Cricket Club. As a corrective exercise specialist, Matthew has lectured at four major UK osteopathic colleges and on many post-graduate courses for medical, rehabilitation and fitness professionals. Matthew has spoken at many international conferences, runs various professional forums and has written a number of peer-reviewed articles. He is currently involved in several book publications, including his upcoming book “The Hamstring Syndrome”, and sits on the advisory board of the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies.

Matthew’s work is his passion, he loves to help people to better health through coaching and treating patients, and teaching other practitioners. Matthew is proud to be a member of faculty at the C.H.E.K Institute; the work of whom has fully embraced and epitomized the ideals Matthew has always driven towards.

Kieran McPhail

Kieran is a C.H.E.K Practitioner, physiotherapist, nutritional therapist and exercise specialist who is passionate about getting people out of chronic pain and back to what they do best.

He has worked in the health, exercise and rehabilitation industry since 2004. Starting as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist consulting private clients in a gym environment, he has since gone on to complete degrees in physiotherapy and nutritional medicine, as well as advanced studies in holistic lifestyle management and corrective and high-performance exercise. This has enabled him to work with a wide range of patients suffering with acute and chronic conditions.

Kieran publishes in scientific journals on chronic pain, presents regularly to health care professionals on a diverse range of topics and undertakes scientific reviews for educational institutions, private clinics and individuals. These have varied from the role of inflammation to the development of trigger points and the manipulation of acute exercise variables on health, function and performance. He has published on chronic pain in peer reviewed journals and is a reviewer for the journal Medical Hypotheses.

In recent years Kieran has studied with luminaries such as Karel Lewitt, Pavel Kolar, Paul Chek, Andry Vleeming, Craig Liebenson, Shirley Sahrmann and Guy Voyer. He is currently studying for an MSc in Orthopaedic Medicine and applying to start a PhD in nutrition and spinal pain.

Kieran specialises in rehabilitation from chronic pain, and has a clinical interest in spinal pain, Parkinson’s and the management of irritable bowel syndrome.

Leigh Brandon

Leigh has been working in the field of health and fitness since 1996. From 1999 to 2004, Leigh worked as a personal trainer and a manger and educator of personal trainers. In 2004, Leigh formed his practice, BodyCHEK in London where he still works today.

In addition to working with clients and athletes to overcome orthopedic, digestive, hormonal and immune conditions, he is an author of three fitness books and teaches a number of courses and workshops.

Some of Leigh’s clients have included British and European champions and record holders and Olympic athletes. Leigh’s mission is to help as many people as possible to reach their health and performance potential, ‘so they can live more productive, fulfilling and happier lives’.

Leigh is an author of four fitness books, including the CHEK “Tennis Biomechanics Manual” and developer of the “The MT Coaching Success Program”.

Gavin Jennings

Gavin started in the health and fitness industry in 2000, after running a number of successful businesses and has been a business owner for more than 22 years. Gavin practiced and competed in martial arts from an early age, and opened his own Martial art school when he was 20.

He has a vast knowledge of running small businesses and, as a C.H.E.K. Practitioner himself, has built a very successful CHEK Clinic in Lancashire, UK, where he employs a 10 strong team of Doctors, C.H.E.K. Practitioners and therapists. Gavin is the director at CHEK Europe, and was also behind the creation and development of the now hugely popular CHEK Academy.

Greg Muller

With over 20+ years of experience in the fitness industry Greg Muller is a premier athletic and human performance coach. Having worked and trained in many countries around the world Greg has had success with elite athletes and sports teams including winning championships with Auckland and the BLUES Rugby, World Champion Softballers, Elite Forces Soldiers,  Mixed Martial Artist Fighters, Gymnasts and Business Executives to name a few.

Greg is highly trained and qualified in the strength, conditioning and human performance field. He is qualified in sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, sports rehabilitation, sports medicine, lifestyle coaching, sports massage and a multitude of other allied and holistic health modalities. Greg is a C.H.E.K Practitioner Level IV, HLC 3, Golf Bio-mechanic and PPS Success Mastery Graduate.

Greg is the former Senior Instructor of the Joint Services Physical Education and Recreational School where he was responsible for the development and overseeing of all physical education training for the New Zealand Defence Force. He currently resides in Ireland where he works with a number of clients and sports teams and is the Managing Director of his company Pure Athlete which provides recovery and performance products for athletes and active people.

Greg has just completed his Masters Degree in leadership , Innovation and Change with his thesis ‘Examining the leadership behaviours of elite coaches and how they succeed’.

Jennie Delbridge

Jennie had been working professionally in the health and fitness industry for over 10 years as a Personal Trainer and Class Instructor, before she discovered the CHEK Institute.

Through working with C.H.E.K Practitioners, Jennie was able to discover the root cause of her own issues. As a CHEK Practitioner and a FDN Practitioner, she is able to identify the underlying problems of clients rather than just treat the symptoms.

Jennie is the co-founder of Peak of wellbeing a very successful coaching business and works with clients in Switzerland, France and the UK, as well as running workshops and seminars in the UK and Europe; she is also a member of the CHEK Faculty.

Warren Williams

Warren has been involved in sport since his school days, while at school he took up karate and kung fu competing in over 200 fights winning over 89%, having won numerous titles in karate and open martial arts and trained with the British national karate team. Warren become a fitness instructor in 98′ but became disillusioned with the industry as a whole and invested time and money into learning more.

Having studied for the last 12 years with world-renowned coach Paul Chek and the C.H.E.K institute in corrective exercise, postural correction, holistic lifestyle coaching, core conditioning and musculoskeletal disorders, warren has become a C.H.E.K practitioner level 4 and holistic lifestyle coach level 3.

Warren works with many top level professional athletes such as; former England striker and Liverpool player Emile Heskey, premiership footballer Kieran Richardson (Fulham FC), Nathaniel Clyne (Crystal palace FC), former Heavyweight boxing world champion David Haye, 2 time Olympian Jade Johnson (long jump), Olympian (sprinter) Abi Ayepitan and many more.

Warren has also written numerous articles for websites, newspapers and magazines, and given advice on various radio stations such as BBC radio London for which he provided a monthly health and fitness show for 2 years.

Warren was a keynote speaker with client Jade Johnson for Paul Chek in 2011 at the CHEK Conference in LA.

Warren is regarded as one of the most skilled exercise and posture practitioners in the country.

Duncan Reeve

Duncan

C.H.E.K Practitioner Level 3, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 3, CHEK Golf Performance Specialist. Assistant CHEK Faculty. CHEK Academy Mentor.

Duncan Reeve is a member of Team CHEK, teaching and presenting for CHEK Europe. A level 3 C.H.E.K Practitioner, HLC Level 3 and a Golf Performance Specialist.

Duncan has been in the Health, Wellbeing & Fitness industry for over 12 years, having started as a gym instructor and graduating to personal training and class instruction before becoming a C.H.E.K Practitioner.

He is one of the UK’s senior CHEK Practitioners having assisted Paul for 12 years at seminars, workshops and lectures.

Duncan is skilled in assisting new Practitioners absorb and apply Paul’s teachings. Duncan is acclaimed for his passionate, enthusiastic teaching style and willingness to share knowledge.

Tom Jackobs

“Been There… Doing It”

There probably isn’t a business issues Tom hasn’t seen or been through, and maybe still going through.  Tom still owns his very successful studio, Body3 Personal Fitness which is located in Houston, Texas.

It was through the systems and coaching he received from NPE over the last 4 years he was able to leave his studio and come work in Orlando.  The team Tom has in place runs a very well oiled machine back in Houston for him.

It wasn’t always like that, when he first started his studio he struggled to make ends meet, even with extreme growth in his GROSS REVENUE, he wasn’t making any money!  Then he listened to his coaching and made the changes necessary in his business to increase net income by a multiple of 5!  Now he is able to share his knowledge, struggles and triumphs with other business owners from around the world.

Tom is also a license private pilot and enjoys flying around Texas and Florida, in Cessna or Piper airplanes.
